Transmission mode of axial flow fans

Apr 19, 2022

axial flow fans are commonly used in three forms: direct motor connection, triangular belt transmission and coupling linkage.

Type A: Axial fan motor is directly connected. The fan impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaft. Generally used for small machines.

Type B: Pulley drive. The pulley is installed between the two bearings.

Type C: Axial flow fan with pulley drive. The pulley cantilever is installed on one end of the main shaft, and the impeller cantilever is installed on the other end of the main shaft.

Type D: Coupling linkage. The impeller cantilever is installed on the main shaft (with a fan duct structure).

Type E: Coupling linkage. The impeller cantilever is mounted on the main shaft (no blower structure).
